Former KLA fighter Dritan Goxhaj has said that rallies in support of the KLA war should have been held continuously and that they are currently delayed.
Goxhaj said that these protests keep alive the spirit of the KLA's national pride.
He further said that the KLA was an army created by all Albanians, which successfully defended the cause for which it was founded, the defense of Kosovo from Serbian aggression.
" The gatherings should have been continuous. They started late and are continuing late. What I would like is for this gathering tomorrow not to be just for 4 individuals. It should be for all those other individuals who are imprisoned in The Hague and for those others who have been unjustly accused and convicted, through false witnesses and accusations.
Every kind of gathering in the name of the KLA, for every member of the KLA, for whoever he is, has an importance for us, because the first keeps the spirit of that pride alive, because the KLA is an added value of the Albanian Nation, it is an army of the Albanian Nation where people from all Albanian regions, even from the diaspora, came and participated in this war for the liberation of Kosovo.
"It is one of the only armies that achieved its goal in all Albanian lands, in the entire history of the Albanian nation. I think that this protest from Tirana will go to the institutions in the wrong way ," Goxhaj said on A2.
