The US demands the extradition of the attackers in Banjska: Serbia must be held responsible!

The representative of the United States at the UN, Robert Wood stated that "there must be full responsibility" under the law for the persons involved in the September 24 attack in Kosovo.

"Persons who have left for a third country should be extradited and prosecuted," said the US representative.

The US said it is working closely with the European Union and NATO partners to help keep Kosovo's Serb-majority north peaceful. Washington called on the parties to return to dialogue, prepared "to take concrete steps forward ", said Wood.

It is important that the parties make progress on all agreements reached in the dialogue, Ambassador Wood said.
