The Kosovo police have given details from the explosion of a gas cylinder in the village of Kčič in Mitrovica, where 14 people suffered bodily injuries.
"Fourteen people suffered bodily injuries as a result of the explosion of a gas cylinder in the basement of the house where they were staying. The injured have been sent for medical treatment to KKUK. The causes of the explosion are still unknown. In addition to the injured, as a result of the explosion, considerable material damage was also caused," the police report states.
Furthermore, the police announced that in addition to the necessary police units, firefighters and a fire expert also arrived at the scene.
The case is being investigated by competent units.
Otherwise, the University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo (ShSKUK) has announced that four of the people injured by the explosion of the gas cylinder in Kciq, Mitrovica are in a more serious state of health due to the burns they suffered.
As it is known in the announcement, the same after the operation were transferred for further treatment to the Central Intensive Medicine.
The injured who are being treated at the KKUK were also visited by Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Kurti has praised the staff of the KKUK for the help provided to the people who sought medical help for their injuries.
