Bayern overturn Sporting and lead with full points, Lennart Karl writes history

Bayern Munich won 3-1 against Sporting Lisbon for the sixth week of the Champions League, in the challenge played at the “Allianz Arena”. The Bavarians started the match briskly by finding the goal in the 6th minute with Lenart Karl, but their celebration was in vain. The goal was canceled by VAR for offside. The first half ended in a goalless draw, while the spectacle was left for the second half.

The Portuguese first took the lead in the 54th minute, when Joao Simoes' pass was deflected into his own net by Joshua Kimmich after a quick move. Bayern equalised in the 65th minute. Michael Oliseh crossed from a corner, and Serge Gnabry, left completely free by Sporting's players, had an easy time slotting the ball into the net.

In the 69th minute it was the turn of the young “diamond” of the Bavarians, Lenart Karl, who scored a very beautiful goal, after the pass received by Konrad Laimer. With today's goal, Lenart Karl has become the youngest player in the history of the Champions League to score in three consecutive Champions League matches. He is only 17 years and 290 days.

In the 77th minute, it was Jonathan Tah's turn to find the goal. After a pattern started by a free kick from Joshua Kimmich, the latter crossed into the area, Gnabry assisted with a header, Tah sent the ball into the net.

After this victory, Bayern is ranked second with 15 points from 6 matches, the same as Arsenal, but with one less match. Sporting Lisbon is currently ranked 9th with 10 points.
