Europa League/ Another big upset in Portugal, Braga overturns Ferencvaros and qualifies for the quarterfinals

Braga have secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League after a strong upset of Ferencvaros. The Portuguese side won 4-0 in the second leg, overturning a 2-0 defeat suffered in Budapest.

The match was decided in the first half, with Braga scoring three goals in 34 minutes. Horta opened the scoring in the 11th minute, while Grillitsh doubled the lead just four minutes later. Martinez scored the third goal in the 34th minute, leveling the two-match aggregate.

In the second half, Horta sealed qualification with his second personal goal and fourth for Braga, finally closing the accounts of this encounter.

This is the second major upset for Portuguese clubs this week, following Sporting Lisbon's convincing victory in the Champions League over Bodo/Glimt.

Meanwhile, another Portuguese team, Porto, will take to the field tomorrow in the Europa League against Stuttgart. Porto has a minimal advantage from the first leg, won 2-1.
