The coach of the Albanian National Team, Rolando Maran, has expressed his satisfaction with the commitment and professionalism of the red-and-black players on the eve of the two friendly matches that Albania will play against Israel on June 3 and Luxembourg on June 6.
At the press conference, where captain Berat Gjimshiti was also present, the Italian coach emphasized that, although the training camp comes at the end of the football season, the players have shown maximum desire and dedication to represent the National Team.

The coach emphasized that, even though it is a friendly match, the result remains an important objective for the team.

It is the fans who hope that we will come out with a victory. When we enter the field as a team, I hope that we get this result. It will be difficult, but at the moment we will have a good result, this would be perfect ," he said.
Maran also spoke about the playing identity he aims to build in the Albanian National Team, emphasizing that the team should rely on its characteristics and not on comparisons with other teams.
" It's not the PSG-Arsenal match, it's Albania. We have to create a DNA based on our characteristics. If a coach keeps his idea safe, then he can't evolve. Football has changed, but so have the players. What I like is for the team to go out on the field and close the match. To ensure a positive result. Every team has its own peculiarities ," said the coach.
He reiterated his philosophy of an aggressive team with a winning mentality, considering the challenge against Israel as an important test.

In the end, the coach revealed that over the last few days he has experimented with several tactical solutions, relying on the individual characteristics of the players.
