The 35th week of the Abissnet Superiore produced strong emotions in both the title fight and the survival race, with several results pushing everything to be decided in the final week of the championship.
Tirana took a vital victory against Vllaznia at the “Selman Stermasi” stadium, triumphing 1-0 thanks to a penalty taken by Rafael in the 16th minute. The white and blues played a good match and did not allow the Shkodra team to create a serious threat in front of Bekaj’s goal. Vllaznia ended the match with two players less after red cards for Mala and Bajram in the last minutes. With this victory, Tirana temporarily climbs to sixth place and will play for survival in the last week against Elbasan.
In Rrogozhina, Egnatia defeated Partizan 2-0 in Nevil Dede's debut on the bench of the Reds. The reigning champions dominated the challenge and found the goals with Alijev in the 17th minute and Bakajoko, thus remaining in the race for the championship title. The defeat seals Partizan's failure to secure a place in the European cups next season.
There was a spectacle and a mix of emotions at the “National Arena”, where Dinamo and Vora tied 2-2. Dinamo started the match briskly with goals from Neziri and Bregu in the first half, but Vora reacted in the second half with Kasalla and Shehi, who restored the balance. This draw mathematically ensures Dinamo's participation in Europe, while Vora remains in the race for survival.
Bylisi also had a very important victory, defeating Elbasan with a score of 2-1. Marku initially gave the ballshiotët advantage, while Lukili equalized for the locals. In the 81st minute, an own goal by Olberkis decided the fate of the match and kept Bylisi's hopes of staying in the elite alive. Despite the loss, Elbasan maintains the top of the standings.
In the other relegation battle, Flamurtari and Teuta shared the points after a 1-1 draw in Vlora. Raso gave the home team the lead in the 12th minute, while Boçi equalized in the second half for Teuta. Flamurtari remains at the bottom of the table with 36 points, while Teuta is one place higher with 39 points.
The final week is expected to be decisive for both the championship title and the teams aiming for survival in the Albanian football elite.
