A shocking testimony was published a few days ago about Bleona Mata, the little girl who disappeared 15 years ago in Kukës.
An elderly man has shared a series of information and details related to the circumstances of the kidnapping, suspicious movements, and elements that could open new avenues of investigation into Bleona's fate.
Bleona Mata's mother, Bukuria, said that the pain of 15 years without justice is killing her every day and that her aunts should be in prison for the kidnapping they committed.
"This pain is burning and stinging me. But my hopes revive a light that one day I will embrace with longing. I think that one day I will hear his voice. He knew many things, that gentleman, I thank him. When he was at the 'Lost People', all the villagers kept this a secret from the police because they were afraid.
That day, a car with Vlora license plates was seen. Why did justice take so long, we experience this pain. That gentleman said: I am old, I knew this information but my family did not let me. I do not want to die with this worry, he said. If there was true justice, 15 years would not have passed and the 5 girls would remain free. They should be punished with prison until they tell the truth. They know why they trafficked the girl. They should be put where they deserve. " - said the mother "Invitation to 5".
She also accused Bleona's father, who never reported the loss of his daughter.
"How can the father look for her, where is the shame? The daughter disappeared, there was always pressure from the brothers. Under pressure, he didn't want to put his sister on TV. I denounced, he withdrew. I don't know what kind of father he is, he doesn't have the heart to look for his own child," said Bleona's mother.
A witness a few days ago provided new details about Bleona's fate.
"I have information about Bleona Mata. The girl was brought by close family members... they brought her to Llakatund and from Llakatund they kept her in the village of Picar in Vlora for three months ," he says.
According to his account, the girl was taken by a couple, who allegedly kept her isolated. The witness adds that after the case was covered in the media in the program "Missing People" that year, the little girl suspected of being Bleona Matë left the village.
"I saw Bleona with my own eyes, we saw her on television. I suspect that they sent her to Greece out of fear, since that family had lived in that country before ," he continues.
