Former SP MP Pandeli Majko has reacted to the passing of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano. In a post on the social network "Facebook", Majko writes that Nano tried everything, where imprisonment as the leader of the SP in opposition was the most difficult, but also the highest moment of his activity as a politician and a person!
He further added that history is full of politicians who will be remembered by their servility, but Nano was not in this category!
"Fatos Nano has passed away!... Before he was the leader of the Socialist Party, Fatos was the son of Maria and Thanas! He was a good brother and a compassionate parent!
In politics, Fatos Nano did not try to escape what he was! Like any man in power, he demanded from life things that were not on the "menu"! In his life's journey, he tried everything, where imprisonment as the leader of the Socialist Party in opposition was the most difficult, but also the highest moment of his activity as a politician and a man!
In politics, power is distributed between the people who deserve it and the people who worship it! Fatos will be remembered for the rules he broke! He was a product of the times he lived in!
In the human conclusion of life, everyone fails to be who they want to be! Therefore, every person cannot be judged only by the mistakes they have made! Fatos was no exception!
History is full of politicians who will be remembered by their servility! Fatos was not in this category! His opponents could count on him to act with dignity.
