Journalist Armand Bajrami said in the "Review" show on Euronews Albania that Artan Tafani has turned into a repentant model of justice, as he has shown very important data about many criminal events.
Bajrami also revealed how Artan Tafani, also known as Marjus Tafani, fell into the hands of the police, who had been looking for him for two years.
" The Prosecution of Elbasani has wanted Artan Tafanin since October 2021 because he was the last contact of Alban Semaku, who was executed on October 17, 2021 in Peqin. The investigation of the case had film footage where Artan Tafani was in the same vehicle as him. At first, Elbasan's prosecutor's office requested his question as a person who might have knowledge about Semak's fate.
He has not responded to the summons of justice and the vehicle used to transport Semak from Lushnja to Peqin has not been found even today by justice. This raised suspicions. He was declared wanted in 2021. A few months ago he appeared in the Astir area in Tirana, where he became the protagonist of the robbery, was identified by the Tirana police and then the exchange of information took place.
Upon his arrest, Tafani was confronted with concrete evidence implicating him in the murder. Facing the severe punishment that awaited him and the tactics of the police have drawn him into cooperation and he has revealed details of all the other events. He is the repentant model, as Tafani has given very important details regarding these events ", said Armand Bajrami.
