Journalist Elton Qyno has stated that SPAK is investigating two tenders at the CEC and that he has requested complete documentation.
He said that SPAK is investigating with the sole purpose of shedding light on the winning company, which is actually a Dutch company, and the relationship that this company had with the CEC holders should be seen.
"In fact, it is an event which was denounced as a corrupt situation in terms of a direct tender, i.e. a tender with a direct agreement from the CEC regarding the purchase of electronic equipment that will they did electronic voting.
It is about the devices that were first experimented in the district of Elbasan and in some other districts, but that later there was a lot of debate regarding their financial value and in these conditions that at that time there was information about a financial abuse or corruption on the part of of the state structures of the CEC.
Apparently, SPAK has already opened an investigation for two tendering procedures such as that of 2020 and that of 2021 and under these conditions SPAK has requested all the complete documentation of these two tenders and with the sole purpose of shedding light on the winning company which is in fact a Dutch company and must obviously be seen in terms of the relationship that this company had with the holders of the CEC.
In fact, there were no offers from other companies here because the tender was direct and the company selected with a direct contractual agreement, I don't know how the CEC justified this part, but apparently it carried out the purchases that are considered as secret tenders and under these conditions has motivated him legally in terms of the selection of this firm in this tender which they have announced as the winner" , said Elton Qyno for "Ora News".
