Which are the cities in Albania with the most road accidents?

Road Safety expert, Islam Qibini, has listed some of the main cities where the most car accidents occur.

Qibini said that more accidents occur in the area of ​​Kruja, Lezha, Shkodra, Fier and Elbasan.

He added that there are road axes that have problems in terms of infrastructure and signage, despite the fact that, according to him, there are significant improvements in some aspects.

" Rather, the car accidents happened in the area of ​​Kruja, Lezha, they happened in Shkodër, in the area of ​​Fier, but also in Elbasan, mainly on the Peqin-Elbasan axis. There are road axes that have problems in terms of infrastructure and road signs that are not fully completed. We have a significant improvement of vertical and horizontal signage, but there are still certain segments that are not fully according to the standards of the road code ", said Qibini on the show 'People' in Euronews Albania.
