The High Judicial Council has taken the judge Arnisa Kelliçi under protection. Last week she announced that she had received a threatening letter and the HCJ has decided that for 3 months she will be in the custody of the Guard and the Police.
A threatening handwritten letter was sent to her address.
" Dear Arnisa.
You have two sons ….. and ….. Think of them!
How can you live and not them and this is true.
With respect ," the letter says.
Genesis seems to be related to a report that the chancellor of the Court of Tirana made to the prosecutor's office about a prosecutor. The judge herself says that she cannot prove the authenticity of the letter, but asks for measures to be taken. It is learned that the letter will be subject to scientific expertise.

A few days ago, I was informed by the Chancellor of this Court that there was a death threat against me, Judge Amisa Kelliçi.
I have no evidence for this fact, but I have been informed that there is a report filed by the Chancellor of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.
Today, 20.01.2024, I received a threatening letter, which as far as I can decipher contains threats to me, my children and my family.
I cannot at any time attest to the authenticity of this letter.
Having said that, for any eventuality, I ask for a special protection, as much as you deem necessary ", the request addressed to the KLJ states.
