Over the last 24 hours, bad weather has also caused problems at Rinas Airport.
Two of the arriving flights on the 5th, in the evening hours, diverted to Bari, due to the inability to continue landing safely.
Even today, there have been localized meteorological phenomena in areas near the airport.
Albcontrol staff have accommodated all requests from pilots to avoid these phenomena during flight phases. Due to these deviations caused by weather conditions, there may be delays in today's flights.
Albcontrol is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safe provision of air navigation services.
During the evening, from 01:30-03:30, due to adverse weather conditions, 5 flights (Bologna, Milan, Turin, Bari, Cologne) were diverted to Brindisi and Bari. Operations continue normally today.
