Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has shown the reasons why the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, did not meet with the opposition during his visit to Tirana.
In an interview on "Top Talk", Njela said that if Blinken were to meet a right-wing group, he would give wrong messages.
" We are in politics. If he were to meet Basha, he would let all the opponents who are with Saliu and these others understand that Basha is America's puppet. Basha has been to Washington, he returned with euphoria, and we don't know what the 'underground' talked about.
I am sure that the meeting of the Secretary of State with a segment of the Democratic Party, a segment which is known to be with Washington, would make him understand the whole contrarian spirit that this situation has in the Western world, that the Americans have decided like a doll. Something that is not true. But something is true, that Basha kicked Sali Berisha out of the Parliamentary Group and then expelled him from the party. Do you understand now where we are?
