The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, expressed reservations today regarding the government's recommendations on the fight against crime, describing some of them as incomplete and unclear.
Professor of Criminalistics, Ervin Karamuco, said on the Now show on Euronews Albania that many things will be improved by the 2016 justice reform as SPAK has created an authority and force beyond that controlled by ILD and KLP.
"It has created an authority and force beyond control, a somewhat extreme force that creates an immunity beyond the powers, and this must be brought under control, not political, but balanced control between the powers."
"A magistrate's case has been under investigation for a year and they can't give it direction because the building is also bad, the judge and the prosecutor can't stay in the same place. They don't fundamentally change immunity, only 94 deputies can change it. SPAK would be intimidated if the SP had 94 mandates instead of 83 ," said Karamuço.
