Since the early hours of today (January 2) the entire country has been affected by low temperatures, while snowfall has begun in the mountainous areas. As a result, road axes, mainly in rural areas, have become snow-covered, making vehicle traffic difficult. According to reports, in the north of the country, the situation is more problematic on the Qafë Thorë, Vermosh and Theth axes.
Meanwhile, operational structures are engaged in the field.
Also, in areas with high traffic flow and in areas where there is snow and frost, patrolling by traffic police services has been increased.
The police appeal to drivers to use winter tires and chains. In Qafë Thore, the snow depth reaches about 15 cm and traffic continues without problems.
