The Special Prosecutor's Office has detained the journalist Elton Qyno this afternoon, after several articles that the latter has made in the media where he works.
Qyno has extracted details from many investigative files informing the public, but according to " Pamphlet " sources, SPAK has ordered his detention, demanding his sources of information.
The scandal is that a journalist's job is to extract any kind of information, and the basis of journalism is not to publish sources. But SPAK not being strong enough to find out on its own how the data came out, ordered the journalist to be arrested and pressured to reveal his sources.
The Qynos ban follows earlier pressures. SPAK in June of last year made a decision, restricting the journalist's free speech and threatening him with prison. The prosecutors demanded that Qyno stop publishing data from the investigation file of Nuredin Duman. " We understand the media's interest in informing the public opinion, but this interest cannot and should not affect an investigation that has begun, nor the public or individual safety of the persons whose names have been mentioned during the investigation, which continues," said SPAK .
But it seems that now the insanity of the Prosecutor's Office has gone so far as to stop the journalist and ask for the source of his information, violating all kinds of norms and intimidating the media. / Pamphlet
