We invite you to follow the Informative Edition with the main developments up to this hour of the day, where among other things we highlight:

The debate on European integration has heated up the Albanian Parliament, where the opposition and the majority clashed fiercely over international reports on corruption, the investment climate and the process towards the European Union. The opposition accused the government of clientelism, institutional capture and failure in reforms, while the socialists defended Albania's progress in negotiations with the EU. However, both parties voted by 114 votes in favor of the joint resolution on integration. However, the session was also accompanied by tensions within the majority itself and harsh retorts between MPs.

The European Union Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, held a meeting with the head of the GJKKO, Erion Bani. The meeting comes at a sensitive moment for Albanian justice, while the topics discussed are not yet known.

Meanwhile, the Appeals Court of Kosovo returned former minister Lefter Koka to prison for the Tirana Incinerator affair. He will have to serve another 6 months in prison. On the other hand, Belinda Balluku has appealed to the Supreme Court to lift her suspension from office.

Another scandal erupted in Kosovo. Deputy Minister of Finance, Hysni Mehani, claimed that he was raped by the mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku. The incident caused strong political reactions, while the police have not yet come up with an official version.

In the international arena, the US continues to arm Kosovo with Javelin missiles and armored vehicles, while Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis warned from Germany that Europe risks losing its global role if it does not strengthen its economy and security.

In China, the meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping was dominated by tensions over Taiwan, with Beijing warning that the issue could lead to conflict between the two countries.

Meanwhile in Britain, Health Minister Wes Streeting resigned, stating that he had lost confidence in Prime Minister Keir Starmer, which has deepened the political crisis within the Labour Party.
