Who will go to jail first, Toma or Bennet?
If Edi Rama's 12-year government is corrupt, one of the biggest beneficiaries of this government is Tom Doshi.
Over 2,700 tenders in healthcare through Aqif Hoxha, monopoly on the production of medicines (water and lime), permits for towers and rest houses from Tirana on the coast, intermediaries for construction permits for others in the AZT, tax evasion, massive money laundering, dictation of local and central directors, control of illegal sports betting, smuggling, connections with major criminal groups (Durim Bamin, Martinajn, Bajrat, Pëllumb Gjokë, etc.), illegal influences, money laundering in construction, buying votes with dirty money, blackmail, public and secret threats, not sparing even Prime Minister Edi Rama, ministers, police chiefs, prosecutors and judges.
For each of these activities and benefits there are facts and evidence, there are witnesses, there are files and there is concrete evidence. It is no coincidence that he is 'non grata' in the USA and Australia. It is no coincidence that Tom Doshi's name results in at least 30 SPAK files, for criminal groups, corruption and money laundering. SPAK, the intelligence services and the embassies of Western countries in Tirana are aware of the details of Tom Doshi's black activity.
With the money from tenders, the monopoly on medicines, gambling and smuggling, Tom Doshi has expanded his electoral influence, obtaining several mandates, with which he then imposes himself on Edi Rama to expand the illegal benefits from public money and assets. The reason why Rama has not yet hit Tom Doshi through SPAK has to do with electoral calculations, since the votes that Doshi collects, especially in Shkodra, if he were hit, these votes would not be received by the SP, but by the DP.
From time to time, Doshi puts pressure on Edi Rama, but always carefully, without crossing the red line. During this campaign, Tom Doshi has focused his attacks on the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci. The reason is simple. Benet Beci does not submit to Toma's blackmail, his demands and interests, he does not sit with him in the bargain, and he has even dismissed several local directors in Shkodra. This is the reason for the attack. No one has a burning stomach for the SP and the socialists, but only when their deep personal pockets are touched.
Today, Tom Doshi called on the socialists to vote for him and not for Benet Beci, who according to him will go to prison after May 11. Benet Beci may be a thief, but Beci is a mayor and is not voted for in these elections. Benet Beci may be from the DP, but he was appointed by Edi Rama and has Rama's trust.
Therefore, it would be better and perhaps more efficient for Toma to fight Rama directly and not indirectly, with his confidant, Benet Beci. Benet Beci may go to prison after May 11 for corruption, but the chances are that Tom Doshi, in front of whom Benet's exploits are negligible, will end up in prison before Benet. / Prapaskena
