
Italy was hit yesterday evening by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale.
EMSC announced today that at 22:19, the north of Italy was hit by an earthquake and according to initial reports, thankfully it did not cause major damage.
According to the EMSC, the epicenter of the earthquake was 13 kilometers from the town of Tolmezzo and was also felt in neighboring countries, including Slovenia and part of Croatia.
Based on the first data, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The shaking lasted for a few seconds while the firefighters received dozens of calls, but no damage has been reported yet.
