Iran is expected to allow a limited number of ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as part of a ceasefire agreement with the United States, signaling a controlled easing of traffic in one of the world's most important maritime corridors.
According to a senior Iranian source, up to 15 ships per day will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a figure that remains significantly lower than normal activity before the conflict erupted.
Data from international maritime traffic analysis companies shows that traffic remains limited. Over the past 24 hours, only one oil tanker and five cargo ships have passed through the strait.
Since the start of the conflict on February 28, maritime traffic in this area has shrunk significantly, with only a few sporadic crossings per day.
Before the conflict, around 140 ships passed through this strategic route every day, indicating a drastic decline in trade activity.
