Gaza's Ministry of Health has updated the death toll from Israeli bombing and airstrikes, reporting that 1,799 Palestinians have died.
In the ministry's statement, it is said that it is also about 6,388 other people who have been injured in Israeli airstrikes since Saturday, reports SkyNews.
While the numbers are expected to worsen in the coming hours, as Israeli attacks still continue on Gaza.
On the other hand, Israel has issued a warning to the 1.5 million residents of Gaza to leave their homes, because the army will enter the city.
We recall that the militant group Hamas launched a massive attack on Israel on the morning of October 7. Israel retaliated with attacks on Gaza. At least 1,300 people in Israel and over 1,537 in Gaza have been killed since the violence erupted. Hamas, which is recognized as a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union and other world powers, has ruled Gaza since 2007.
Israel has ordered a complete siege of Gaza, and authorities have said that this measure means cutting off water, food and energy to the territory. Israel and Gaza have so far fought four wars, as the Palestinians repeatedly seek to establish their own state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
