Spanish police have seized eight tons of cocaine that were hidden in a container in the southern port of Algeciras.
The narcotic, which had come from Suriname, in South America, was hidden inside a power generator.
The narcotics, one of the largest ever seized in Spain, were inside a metal structure designed to escape detection by scanners.
The cocaine from Suriname traveled to Panama and from there to the port of Algeciras.
The next destination was Leixoes in Portugal, from where it would be transported by land to Spain.
