President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to increase coal production.
Surrounded by coal workers, Trump said this is a "very important day."
"We are bringing back an industry that had been abandoned," he says.
The US president said today that he will end "Joe Biden's war on beautiful clean coal" and miners will "go back to work."
Trump is signing an executive order to declare coal a mineral, which it is not. Coal is a sedimentary rock and is classified as a fossil fuel.
Donald Trump then spoke about the tariffs, stating that the US will take $2 billion a day in tariffs. The US president made the comment without providing details.
