Trump refutes Macron: My departure from the G7 has nothing to do with the ceasefire, Emmanuel is always wrong

After leaving the G7 summit in Canada early, Donald Trump has taken a dig at French President Emmanuel Macron.

Trump says Macron was wrong to claim he left the summit to work on a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, adding that "it's something bigger than that."

Further, he adds, "whether intentionally or not, Emmanuel is always wrong."

“French President Emmanuel Macron, who is seeking publicity, incorrectly said that I left the G7 Summit in Canada to return to Washington to work on a ‘ceasefire’ between Israel and Iran. Wrong! He has no idea why I am now going to Washington, but of course this has nothing to do with a ceasefire. Much more than that. Whether intentionally or not, Emmanuel is always wrong. Stay tuned!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
