In Skrapar, as part of the police mega-operation coded "Tomb", in a newly opened field, in a wooded and deep mountainous area, in the territory of the administrative unit of Djerba, they were found cultivated in cubes, in a greenhouse, as and destroyed by burning, 1,000 suspected narcotic cannabis plants.
As a result of the investigative actions for this case, the suspected author of the cultivation of these narcotic plants, citizen O. Gj., 39 years old, resident of the village of Bërsak, Skrapar, was identified and declared wanted. The work for the capture of the 39-year-old continues.
In Elbasan, within the framework of 2 anti-cannabis operations coded "Krasta" and "Çereshta", 252 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found and destroyed by burning. As part of the police operation coded "Krasta", in a forest area, in Seltë village, Zavalin administrative unit, 160 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found and destroyed by burning. As a result of the investigative actions for this case, the suspected perpetrator of the cultivation of these narcotic plants, citizen AD, 53 years old, resident in Tirana, was identified and declared wanted, as well as the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in the state of free, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for citizens Y. Ç., 56 years old, FL, 45 years old (on duty as forest inspectors in the areas of Gjinari and Zavalina) and KB, 55 years old (mayor of Seltë village). The work for the capture of the 53-year-old continues. Following the procedural actions within the "Çereshta" operation, carried out on June 18, 2023, by the Librazhd Police, yesterday, 92 more suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found and destroyed by burning.
In total, 672 narcotic cannabis plants and seedlings were destroyed from this operation. The authors of the cultivation of these plants and seedlings are suspected to be the wanted citizens SD and KD. Also, during the controls around the territory where the narcotic plants were found, in a camping tent, suspected to be adapted for accommodation, by the citizens of SD and KD, was found and seized as material evidence, a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa, divided into 2 plastic bags. The work continues for the capture of the 2 wanted citizens.
In Kruja, as part of the police mega-operation coded "Clean Territory", in a forest area, in the village of Cudhi Kamp, Cudhi administrative unit, 195 suspected cannabis narcotic plants were found and destroyed by burning. Investigative actions continue to determine the authorship of this case of cultivation.
In Lezhë, as part of the police mega-operation coded "Image", in a forest area, in the village of Malecaj, Balldre administrative unit, 330 suspected narcotic cannabis plants were found and destroyed by burning. Investigative actions continue to determine the authorship of this case of cultivation.
The procedural materials were passed to the relevant prosecutors for further actions, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants"
