Journalist Klodiana Lala spoke about the execution of former prison police officer Gentjan Bejtja a day ago, in Larushke, where she revealed details about the reason why he may have been killed.
While showing the dynamics of the assassination, the journalist said that one reason is that he may have been killed to "shut him up" since he knew too much.
"Beitja has fallen victim to assassinations several times. When he was assassinated, Bejtja did not speak about the people who assassinated him. I think Beitja was killed for what he knew. Gentian Bejtja was a prison policeman and had no problems with the law. But after meeting Enver Stafuka, he began to enter the world of crime. This brought problems to Bejtja. Gentian Bejtja could have had a hand in many serious criminal events. "Beytja was suspected as a character who may have been involved in many serious events, usury, etc.," declared journalist Lala.
The journalist also showed other details related to the assassination, where she said that the barrage of bullets was very large.
"His house was in a dead end street. He lives in a country where everyone is related to each other. He was in his father's apartment and when he went to his apartment he was shot. The car with which the murder was committed was stolen in Shkodër. When Gentjan Bejtja saw the two masked people with Kalashnikovs, he ran away, but was chased and killed. The barrage of bullets was very high. Before the assassination, the area had no lights and the power was restored minutes after the execution," Lala told News 24.
