On Sunday evening, police officers in Salamis arrested two men of Albanian origin, aged 63 and 67, on charges of espionage.
The Greek newspaper Protothema.gr reported that the two Albanians had been spotted earlier by Navy personnel entering and observing the Naval Station of Salamis.
According to the information, the two Albanians claimed that they were under the influence of alcohol, with the same information that they were tested and found that they had indeed consumed a certain amount of alcohol.
Despite their claim, the two Albanians were arrested and will be sent to the prosecutor's office, while the question remains as to how they managed to enter the Naustatmos area.
