A 45-year-old man in Kukës has been arrested by police after cultivating narcotic plants on 3 plots during 2024.
During the June operation, the Kukes Police managed to seize 3 parcels of narcotic cannabis plants through drone footage and found a Kalashnikov rifle in his apartment.
Based on information provided, the Kukes Police have today placed Mici, who was wanted by the Kukes Court, in handcuffs.
"Kukës/The police operation codenamed "Kroi" is finalized, for the capture of a wanted citizen. In June 2024, he cultivated narcotic plants in 3 plots and possessed a Kalashnikov, the 45-year-old is located and arrested.
As a result of the checks carried out based on information provided by police intelligence, the Kukes Police Commissariat finalized the "Kroi" operation, during which citizen NM, 45 years old, was arrested.
He was declared wanted because the Kukës Court had assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."
In June 2024, the Police services found that the 45-year-old had cultivated narcotic plants, in 3 plots, in the place called "Mahalla e Kroit të Madh". Further, from the searches in the apartment of this citizen, 1 Kalashnikov firearm with combat ammunition was found, which was possessed without a permit. The procedural materials were passed to the Kukës Prosecutor's Office, for further actions," the police announced.
