The powerful explosion shook the city of Lushnja yesterday afternoon, causing the death of a father and son and injuring 7 people, and caused great damage to businesses and houses around.
Some of the residents compare the explosion to that of March 15, 2008 in Gërdec.
"We are very scared. The roof of the house is broken. It is not allowed to work with gas cylinders. We are a family, 100,000 lek pension is not enough for us to eat bread, we can no longer go to the doctor or fix the houses. It was exactly like the Gërdec explosion," said a resident.
Meanwhile, the State Inspectorate went to the scene, one day after the tragedy in Lushnja with 2 victims and 7 injured, among them the MP of the SP, Bujar Çela.
It is learned that Fier's prosecutor, OSHEE engineers, the anti-explosive unit and Lushnja police are also present at the scene.
Four of the injured who are in Lushnja hospital are reported to be out of danger.
