The leader of the Mundësia party, Agron Shehaj, stated that he asked Altin Dumani 8 months ago in the Assembly if there was a red line that even SPAK cannot cross to fight corruption.
According to Shehaj, the head of SPAK at the time told him that he should wait to see, while now with the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj, it seems that the red line has disappeared.
" When Dumani reported to parliament in July, I asked him a direct question. We all know that corruption was not committed by ministers, directors, or MPs. There is no one in Albania who does not know that if there is corruption in Albania, it is because Edi Rama is corrupt and Erion Veliaj is corrupt. Seeing that he was not going there, I asked him if there was a red line that even SPAK could not cross.
Dumani replied, "Investigations are being conducted, investigations need time, give us time and you will see." After 6 months, we saw that the red line disappeared. These are facts, that regardless of what they say, we should not forget that corruption is the biggest problem of this country, everyone is fleeing because everything is caught and now we have an institution that is acting ," said Shehaj.
