The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Edvin Kulluri, commented on the situation within the blue camp. Kulluri, who a day ago was also elected a member of the Presidency, said that Basha's invitation was a political act and there was no reason why I should not respond positively to a merger with Basha's group.
"Mr. Basha's invitation is a political act. There is no reason not to respond positively, it came a year ago, we met several times and discussed the concerns of the opposition", said Basha.
Kulliri says that all the deputies who joined Berisha did so to continue their political career. According to him, if the deputies of the Bardhi group did not agree with Basha, they should have created a new political party and not join Berisha, declared non grata by the USA and Great Britain.

They have made a resolution in the December 11 assembly. Deputies must clarify whether the US has withdrawn or whether the deputies have changed their minds about declaring Berisha non grata. The argument has been that Berisha has more votes than Basha, they are making a pragmatic choice. I think that Rama has more votes and the way is open to go to SP. The conditions in which this group is today in relation to the Reestablishment have not changed. It is a career progression discussion. I misjudge it. It is better to create a political party, distanced from both DP and Re-establishment, but they have the capacity and interest for a third movement.
