Because Fatmir Mediu has many criminal precedents, among them, a sentence of 3 years in prison in Italy for trafficking to EU countries, of a trafficker from Berat sentenced to 10 years for trafficking and internationally wanted, by introducing him to the delegation of the Presidency of the Assembly with a false passport.

For these companies, Fatmir Mediu's son has several luxury offices of 150-200 m2 in the former Bllok and in the Bashkim Ulajt tower, but with the firms "MG Finleas GmbH" and "Edelweiss city Apartments GmbH", it turns out that he has made many transactions, while his daughter Semela Mediu has 2 commercial units "M&T" and "BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL" in the "Toptani" center.
Fatmir Mediu is charged with purchasing a 292 m2 villa worth 65 thousand USD in Kavaja, for which he declares that he bought it with a 50 thousand USD loan, which he received with false letters from the government, allegedly as a homeless MP, when in fact he had a 191 m2 apartment plus an additional 56 m2 in Tirana.
Even if he were not a defendant in the Gërdec tragedy, this evidence is enough to remove him from the closed list and lock him in a cell./ Pamphlet
