The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after the statement of Prime Minister Edi Rama during the meeting of the Socialist Party structures in unit no. 7 in Tirana.
During this event, Rama addressed Halit Valteri, saying that he had left that dump, referring to the Democratic Party, and had joined the Socialists.
Bardhi objects to this language and emphasizes that a large number of citizens cannot be labeled in that way. According to him, these are voters who have a critical attitude towards the government and its way of running it.
He describes the prime minister's statement as an expression of hatred and not as political communication. Bardhi adds that such an approach reflects, in his opinion, deeper problems in the way power is perceived and exercised.
"Over 500,000 voters are not "stupid." They are citizens who know that at the head of the government is someone who steals from them every day."
"This of Edi Rama is not political language, it is hatred, for which I have only disgust," said Bardhi, adding that for someone whose head is immersed in the m... of corruption and who is stinking up Albania, everything and everyone seems like garbage," Bardhi writes.
