Kurti "hit" Rama from Tirana: The North is Kosovo's land, we do
Albin Kurti

The north of Kosovo is the land of Kosovo, territorial integrity is inviolable, state sovereignty is protected by democratic governance and with our partners we will take care of national security...

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has once again made it clear to Prime Minister Edi Rama that he cannot dictate the politics of Kosovo.

Speaking to journalists after the Berlin Summit held in Tirana, Kurti shot down the idea of KFOR taking control of the North, as he "slapped" Prime Minister Edi Rama for calling the North of Kosovo a no man's land. Kurti said that the North is Kosovo's land and territorial integrity is not negotiated.

" The north of Kosovo is the land of Kosovo and we need more security for Kosovo, which means NATO troops to be on joint patrols with the Kosovo police, since the border line with Serbia is 380 kilometers, it is more longer than the border line with Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia taken together. The Kosovo Police is the first responder in case of tensions and attempts at destabilization. EULEX the second, KFOR the third. The Kosovo Police is both south of the Ibri and north of the Ibri. KFOR is not a law enforcement institution, this is done by the police of the Republic of Kosovo. The north of Kosovo is Kosovo's land, territorial integrity is inviolable, state sovereignty is protected by democratic governance and with our partners we will take care of national security ," Kurti said.

Furthermore, he revealed that he had a meeting with the Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, while he did not leave Aleksandar Vučić unscathed, who fled to China and boycotted the Summit. He further demanded the punishment of Serbia for the attack in the North.

" We hope there will not be a fourth episode of Serbia's attacks. There must be sanctions against Serbia. It is a good day because the Berlin Process makes the Balkans European.

We have an agreement with Serbia on February 27, de facto mutual recognition must be implemented. The Serbian side has refused even today, I asked Brnabič to sign the basic agreement, I am for them to be implemented. Vucic was busy in China today. If he is so interested in stabilization, let me sign the agreement", said Kurti" , he said.

During the summit in Tirana, Kurti also had a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. It was Kurti himself who reacted on social networks.

"Working meeting with Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz, during the Summit of the Berlin Process, in Tirana", said Kurti. Meanwhile, at the press conference, Scholz condemned the attack in the North and said that after the investigation is closed, it will be decided whether there will be sanctions against Serbia.
