The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared in a press conference that the protest called by the opposition will be peaceful, emphasizing that this is part of the DP's political platform.
He stressed that the opposition only organizes peaceful rallies and rejected allegations of inciting violence, while using harsh tones towards political opponents.
Further, Berisha said that the opposition does not have bandits like Ilir Proda and Sokol Bizhga, there are no traffickers or murderers like them.
"As far as what they say, the protest is peaceful, we only organize peaceful protests. We have this platform, if we didn't have it I wouldn't be saying this. We are a democratic opposition, the opposition doesn't have bandits like Porda and Sokol Bizhga, there are no traffickers, murderers like them.
"So this is a serious act of provocation that has no impact. The opposition will go to complete victory. These rats that are running away will be caught wherever they are. Stealing Albanian citizens for 13 years and when you find out that an arrest warrant has been issued, you run away. Corruption will be declared a serious crime, secondly, leaving will be declared a crime that doubles and triples the sentence, they will rot, all the years in prison will be spent," said Berisha.
