The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a press conference from the Blue House, where he was asked about the possibility of continuous protests in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
In his response, Berisha stated that the number of citizens demanding change is increasing, describing this demand as fair and inevitable. According to him, this change will be implemented at the first possible moment.
He stated that the protests represent the reaction of responsible citizens, who, according to him, are faced with a state that is "degraded and degenerated to an extreme degree."
The DP leader also criticized the justice system, raising questions about the legal responsibility of constitutional institutions. Berisha said that, in the current conditions, citizens are the only force left, expressing his belief that this battle will be won by them.
In his statement, Berisha emphasized that, according to the opposition, morality and civic honesty are stronger than the interests that he described as abusive, while the Democratic Party's objective remains the removal of what he described as a serious danger to Albanian society.
