MP Enkelejd Alibeaj has stated that he will not accept to be called part of the "Basha" group and that he is one of many people who showed political clarity and support for justice and orientation towards the West.
Invited to "Euronews Albania", he says that he has fought a long battle against "Berishism" and refuses to be part of a political group led by Berisha. Alibeaj underlines the importance of protecting his political values, regardless of the court's decisions.

I am one of at least 105,000 people who showed that they were clear politically and clearly this political path would not have the gifts that power gives, but to show that they have political morals, clear politically. These people find the orientation of this country towards the west and the support of SPAK and justice non-negotiable. I have fought a longer battle with "Berishism". This dates back to at least 2012 and I stand by these values. And the last thing I will say is that in politics I don't stick to political paganism, I'm not one of those who go after a stamp, a logo regardless of its importance. Regardless of the court's decision, he would not change the values. And I would not accept to be part of a political group headed by Berisha, more precisely "of Berishism". And the last thing I see. He adds that it is a political obligation for voters to create an electoral political entity.
