Rama restores Rajmonda Balilajn, she is appointed prefect in Fier

Lefter Shehaj, the prefect of Fier district, is relieved of his duties.

The decision was taken today at the meeting of the Council of Ministers, while Rajmonda Bilalaj was appointed in his place.

Lefter Shehaj was appointed to this post on December 3, 2021.

Meanwhile, Rajmonda Bilalaj held the post of mayor of Patos from 2011 until May 2023, when another socialist Fation Duro took the post.

"In support of Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution and Article 5 of Law No. 107/2016, "On the District Prefect", with the proposal of the Minister of the Interior, the Council of Ministers.

DECIDE:

1. Mr. Lefter Shehaj, Prefect of Fier District, is released from this duty.

2. Mrs. Rajmonda Balilaj is appointed prefect of Fier District.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette", the decision states.
