Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has sided with Greece, after President Bajram Begaj rejected Kyriakos Mitsotakis' invitation to the Athens Summit.
Regarding President Bajram Begaj's rejection of Mitsotakis' invitation, Berisha says that this was done in order to force the Greek Prime Minister to invite Rama to the meeting.
Berisha adds that Begaj, instead of intervening to solve Fredi Beleri's problem, goes and implements Prime Minister Rama's orders.

Dear friends, Greece is the place of the declaration of the Thessaloniki Summit, the basic legal document of the official commitment of the European Union for the provision and security of the European perspective, for the countries of our region from the EU. In this context, the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, organizes a high-level meeting with the leaders of the countries of the region, in which the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council Charles Michel, and personalities participate. other main EU.
The Prime Minister of Greece rightly did not invite Edi Rama due to his violation of the constitutional rights, the rights guaranteed by the European Convention on Human Rights and the Electoral Code, and other laws of the country of the Albanian citizens in the electoral farce on May 14 in general and the Beleri case in particular. But he sent the invitation to Albania to the President of the Republic in accordance with the European protocol of these summits. However, in a thoughtless act in my estimation, the President of the Republic has de facto rejected the invitation thinking that with his rejection he will force Prime Minister Micotaqis to invite Edi Rama.
With this act, Mr. Begaj chose Edi Rama between the European interests of the Albanians and the personal anti-European mafia interests of Edi Rama. He undertook to boycott the summit and refused the invitation.
