The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to today's injury in Kukës, where a municipality director seriously injured a relative of the mayor of this city, Albert Halili.
29-year-old Elvis Halili was injured by Zenel Muçmata, who chased him in a car and injured him near his house.
In a Facebook post, Berisha points out that Eduart Shalsi, the political representative of the Socialist Party for the Kukës Region, has dismissed the chairman of the Socialist Party, Kukës, Has, Tropojë. Berisha adds that this dismissal has provoked animalistic beatings within the clan of the mayor of the Kukës Municipality.
"Shalsi dismisses the mayor of the SP, Kukës, Has, Tropoja. He provokes animalistic beatings and bloodshed within the clan of the mayor of the Municipality and SP Kukës, Albert Halili ," Berisha writes.
According to information received by the editorial office of "Pamphlet", conflicts have erupted in the PS branch in Kukës. In December, Secretary General Blendi Klosi decided to reform the branch. The two co-chairs of the branch, Anila Sokoli and Besmir Lamallari, have left the leadership of the PS Kukës. The mayor of the municipality, Albert Halilaj, has been delegated to this position. However, this has caused dissatisfaction. The socialists themselves have risen up against such a move, dissatisfaction also expressed on social networks.

Hello Dr. This gunfight in Kuka was caused by the firing of Albert Halili by the leader of the Kuka PS from Shalsi, Zenela Mucmata is Shalsi's wing and there is a hotel in Kuka where Shalsi is staying, today Albert Halili's family members brutally beat Zenel Mucmata... the latter is armed and has injured the son of Albert Halili's uncle... he is also in the hospital in Prizerena in critical condition, so in short, the fights with Shalsi and Halili today have escalated to this extent.

Only in exceptional cases can the mayor also be the party chairman (in all of Albania there are 1 or 2 cases). This is Shalsi's text message about Halil's dismissal from the chairman of the PS Kukes. He did the same thing for Hasi and Tropoja. The one who has the gun was dismissed a week ago by the director of the Kukes municipal council after he sided with Shalsi.
