Democratic Party (DP) electoral campaign strategist Chris LaCivita gave an interview this Monday, talking about the reasons that brought him to Albania.
The question that naturally arises for all of us is how he discovered Albania and the Democratic Party.
While responding to "Opinion" about this, LaCivita gave his perspective on the political situation here, compared to that in the United States.

-Did you have any ideas or information about Albania before you came here?
LaCivita: Yes, before I came here I wanted to learn as much as possible. I spent a lot of time reading about the culture and history so that I could also understand the current political situation.
-You talked about similarities between the political situation in America and the political situation in Albania. What are these similarities?
LaCivita: The biggest similarity is the current economic situation. Prices have gone up. The cost of living is very high. Basic things are very expensive. Jobs are an important issue. Economic sustainability is a very important issue. These have been important issues in America as well. That was why Trump won. And he has changed a lot of these things since his first 100 days in office. From an economic standpoint these are very important and I also think that some of the things that President Trump faced from the Biden administration are very similar, I think, to what Dr. Berisha has gone through. So there is a good synergy and the way these things work.
