The Democratic Party is part of the Territorial Reform Commission. This was stated by the Democratic Party leader, Sali Berisha, in a reaction to the media, while confusion has been created regarding the Democrats' position on whether or not they will be part of this commission. Everything arose after the Democrats themselves and Berisha, after the January 24 protest, declared that they would end any cooperation with Edi Rama, while referring to the territorial reform they claimed that they would discuss it with the citizens.
But in his latest statement, Berisha considered these as lies by Taulant Balla, the head of the SP Parliamentary Group.
Mr. Berisha, if I understood correctly, in your statement you said that every action is paralyzed, including non-participation in the territorial reform commission?
Sali Berisha: I said the parliament is paralyzed. We can't have anything on the agenda except the coup that Edi Rama is carrying out to protect himself.
On the agenda is a decision to change the composition of the commission....
Sali Berisha: They can do whatever they want. We are on the committee. Do they want to exclude us altogether? Let them do it.
Mr. Berisha, are you not going to the committee? You have been absent from three meetings...
Sali Berisha: Who told you? No opposition members were informed at any meeting. It's all manipulation by Edi Rama because he wants to move, but we are focused on his coup. He is hopeless. Whatever he does, he will end up with Lubina, by her side, where he belongs.
So, you're on the committee?
Sali Berisha: We are, how are we not? Who said we are not? We have been and we are. There is no discussion. Do you believe Tao's lies? You saw who Tao was, I read it to you there. How can you believe him?
