Vetevendosje's poor result in the run-off...
Kosovo has shown once again that it is many steps ahead of Albania when it comes to elections. While an hour has passed since the closing of voting in the 18 municipalities that went to the runoff, most of the boxes have been counted and there is more or less a clear picture of the results. Today in Albania, voting took place in 5 cities, but in our country not only has the counting not started, but it is not known when it will start.
With 46.27 percent of the votes counted, Përparim Rama of the LDK is leading in Prishtina with 51.15 percent of the votes. Hajrulla Çeku of the LVV has won 48.85 percent.
Shaqir Totaj from PDK is expected to receive another mandate as mayor of Prizren, as after counting 75 percent of the votes, he has won 54.97 percent. Artan Abrashi from LVV has received 45.03 percent.
In South Mitrovica, according to the results so far, the race is close between Faton Peci from LVV and Arian Tahiri from PDK.
With 31.43 percent of votes counted, Peci is in the lead with 54.17 percent, while Tahiri has won 45.83 percent.
