"Kurti was wrong"/ Vetëvendosje official responds to Rama:

The official of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Arbër Zaimi, has stung Prime Minister Edi Rama, while commenting on the latter's statements about Kosovo.

In an interview for the media, he emphasized that if Albania belongs to the Albanians, it should always be with Kosovo.

Referring to Rama, he emphasized that it seems unreasonable for us to surrender to the gangs.

"I think that Albania, if it belongs to the Albanians, should always be with Kosovo, if it is with someone else, then it takes other positions. Albania should always be in support of Kosovo. Kosovo police and Kosovo authorities have not attacked anyone. It seems unreasonable to me to surrender to the gangs" - he emphasized.

A few hours after participating in the Summit of the European Political Community in Moldova, where he was also seen discussing 'head to head' with the President of Serbia Aleksandër Vucic, Prime Minister Edi Rama has expressed his position on the tensions in the North of Kosovo.
Asked by BBC News about the attack on KFOR soldiers by the protesters and the rekindling of the conflict, Rama stepped up to take responsibility like the Serbian President and emphasized that Kurti was wrong.

According to him, Vucic is responsible for the created situation, as he forced the Serbs to abandon local institutions, creating the vacuum that pushed Kosovo to hold the April 23 elections to preserve the democratic order.
While, for Rama, Albin Kurtin fueled the fire with the persistence he showed by coming to the offices under the escort of the Special Police 4 mayors.
