Russia has targeted the presidency and prime minister of Kosovo.
It is known that the websites of the state institutions in Pristina were attacked during the day by Russian hackers, putting them out of order.
The Minister of Defense, Ejup Macedonci, said that this cyber attack against Kosovo came as revenge for the armed support provided to Ukraine.
Even the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, has stated that Russia is carrying out a hybrid attack on Kosovo.
Gërvalla emphasized that the Russian attack on Kosovo comes after supporting Ukraine with military equipment.
"Russia is attacking Kosovo in a hybrid way today, after our announcement of support with military equipment for Ukraine, in its justified defense against genocidal Russian aggression. We know from Serbia's genocide against Kosovo that only military means stop genocide", writes Gërvalla.
This reaction comes at a time when Russia is increasingly involved in the issues of the Western Balkans, vocally supporting the position of Serbia and opposing Kosovo.
