The emissary of the European Union has shown details of the meeting that took place today in Kosovo with the country's leaders.

After the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his deputy Besnik Bislimi, he said that the focus of the EU in the coming months will be on the elections there and shows that this is the visit to Kosovo that, according to him, will show how much progress can be made. it is done in the dialogue process.

"To discuss how much progress we can achieve before Europe goes to the polls, you know that thanks to the dialogue we had important results at the end of last year, the agreement on energy, as well as the recognition of license plates and the end of the ticket regime for license plates, but we had a little progress in terms of normalizing relations", said Lajçak.

He stated that the only question that should be asked now about the Ohrid Agreement is when its implementation should begin.

"We had an agreement from February-March of last year that it should no longer be a question of what or how it should be done, in my opinion, the question is when its implementation should begin, of course when I am asked I say let's start as soon as possible without delay", said Lajçak.

Among other things, he has shown what he discussed with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, he will analyze it and send it to the EU member states.

"I have received everything I have discussed with the leaders here and in Serbia, I will analyze the information and inform the EU member states and the leadership there, I think that normalization should continue because it brings benefits for the good of the people here", he concluded.
