Naim Mureseli's father has spoken about the death of Liridona Ademaj, killed a few days ago by her husband who allegedly paid the killers, an event that shocked the country.
He shared the difficult moment when he received the news about the murder of Liridona Ademaj. He confessed that as soon as he got home in Sweden, his second son called him to tell him the news of Liridona's murder.
" Somewhere around 8:20, but as soon as I entered the house in Sweden, my second son called me and they already told me, 'Dad, they killed Liridona.' There the oil cracked. We love Liridona more than my children. We traveled 35 hours. Along the way, I have seen the interview given by Naim. 'We were robbed in the street, our things were looted. I ran away with my children, my wife was killed'. That's the only detail I had. I didn't have a chance with the paddles and with the media , he said.
Asked by the journalist Krasniqi about the moment when he realized that his son is accused of having ordered the murder, he said that he was in a difficult moment and did not have the opportunity to follow the media or get other information about the event.
" Believe me, I swear to you... someone had different information behind me, but the ones I've been with are called 'principals', never any indication that I have a day. The funeral was over, I came to the house full of people before and after talking to them, I met my son every time and he rushed at me and said 'don't give statements because you spoil the investigations'. I told him that I have no information, I only spoke what I heard ," he added.
He denied having any communication with Naim after the arrest until he told how he was shocked when he was informed by the Police that Naim Mureseli allegedly ordered the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
" I am very shocked. I love Liridona more than my daughters. There were some policemen there, they checked, there was nothing. A policeman asked us to vacate the room. That policeman and I are sitting on the bed. He said to me, 'Sir, I am very sorry, we have enough evidence that Naimi is the perpetrator of the crime'. There I was shocked because after giving the whole world, I wouldn't even think that my son did that ," he said.
" I want to guarantee you one thing, in five days I am the one who killed him, I was revenged myself with my son that day. He was not alive today, because I have character, I have a face, it was never five days ago that he made that gesture ", said Murseli for "Nacionalen".
