The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has spoken about the change "for the better" in relations with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
Osmani said that despite the differences in some issues, it is very important for the Albanians to unify their foreign policy.
The head of state of Kosovo has said that Albania is the voice of Kosovo.
According to Osmani, where our country does not have representation, it is Albania, therefore the Albanian state should be considered not only a sister state, but also a powerful ally in facing the challenges ahead.
"In order to advance our priorities, it is very important that the Albanians in the region unify the foreign policy. Albania is our voice where we do not have representation, so despite the differences we have had in some issues, we must continue to coordinate and consider the Albanian state not only a sister state, but a powerful strategic ally in facing the challenges we face. Kosovo should appreciate and strengthen its alliances more than ever. Cooperation and coordination with those who stood by us in the most difficult moments of our history is an action in the service of the state. Our state has strong foundations because it rests on the sacrifice of our people, but also on the partnerships we have built. Therefore, cooperation with Albania in strengthening the state of Kosovo is essential", President Osmani told the Reporter.
